Field
Her research activity is directed towards metal chemistry. She has dealt with making metal oxides and determining their properties. In particular, the mixed iron-elements of lanthanides' oxides have been investigated. She is also interested in corrosion and metal protection issues.
Furthermore, she has developed research activities in relation to environmental pollution. More specifically, she is interested in issues related to disposal, cleaning of natural waters and industrial liquid waste that contain heavy metals. Moreover, she deals with the cleaning of polluted sea sediments and sludges from the biological treatment of waste.
She is interested in sea environment matters (water and sediments). She has also examined the issue of industry waste generation and made research regarding solid waste production and management. More specifically, solid industrial waste (hazardous and non-hazardous), domestic rubbish and sludges from liquid waste treatment units have been examined.
